Omniscient Continuums
If I were to choose one single word which best describes my work it would be “dramatic”. It seems to be a quality which springs naturally from my interest in images and situations with strong visual intensity - rich in conflict and contrast, mysterious, wild and dangerous .
My works gravitate into the realms science understands least; that 'place' Albert Einstein calculated exists when mass occupies too little space; a 'space' where the terms 'matter', 'energy', 'information' and ‘time’ have no meaning. They are manifestations in the realm between abstraction and representation - the infiniteness of emotion and harmony found within spirals and space-time itself.
"Omniscient Continuums" explores not only within ephemeral cosmic phenomena, but also serves as a Lagrangian introspection point between feeling and thought, reality and imagination, science and divinity - giving the images suggestions of imposing emotional landscapes filled with dynamic, sentient potential. Each is hand painted using proprietary techniques pushing the limitations of the materials utilized in the process - my own body, balloons, inflatable objects and customized colors of pure pigment in acrylic mediums on specially prepared substrate resulting in fantastical, organic images of photographic quality.
